A leading healthcare client that provided health insurance to over 3.6 million people was rapidly transitioning its role from being a provider of applications to a provider of a platform for applications. Their business needs were evolving and transforming at a pace that could not be supported by the current process and technology. The project entailed an evaluation of IT infrastructure, a gap analysis, a plan to support daily operations, and a strategic IT plan to support transformation.

LiquidHub defined the current state and identified the technology and knowledge gaps in the client’s IT Department. We outlined the desired future state, which helped in creating a comprehensive IT Strategy. We also defined a blueprint for future state capabilities, architecture, and platform. Multiple proofs of concepts and technology selection activities were conducted to define technology stack for the future platform. We created a project schedule to align IT with overarching enterprise goals and objectives. A tactical and investment roadmap was designed to implement the strategy.

Our customer-centric strategy and plan formed a tactical basis for management discussions regarding Digital Platforms for the future. The project list served as a useful reference for tracking progress. The client was facilitated with a clear roadmap, investment plan, and implementation plan to follow.
